Another chunk of wood to keep this "Campfire" going
Long ago and oh so far away
I fell in love with you before the second show
Your guitar, it sounds so sweet and clear
But you're not really here
It's just the radio
Don't you remember you told me you loved me baby
You said you'd be coming back this way again baby
Baby, baby, baby, baby, oh, baby, I love you I really do
Loneliness is a such a sad affair
And I can hardly wait to be with you again
What to say to make you come again
Come back to me again
And play your sad guitar
I also have a BONUS for anyone who happens to know "Sleepwalk".
Actually it's my first test that I just finished it right at this very moment of my USED Fender Squire Telecaster that I obtained from my local "Craigslist" few days ago. I was kind of missing my previous solid electric Fender Strat that I sold few years back. And I always love the twangy tone of Tele, so I went searching and found it. And here it is to share with you fresh from my oven!. Hope you'll like its twangy tone too :-))
4 เพลงเจ็บไปเจ็บมา กับ R Taylor style 2
When I was young most of my contemporary friends looked up to who could PLAYED exactly like the originals and they all tried so hard to be the carbon copy of them. Sadly but true, they restricted themselves to the capacity of those STARS. They'd never grow up to their true talents. There were few who did it their own ways and couldn't careless about other's opinions and they seemed to happy as much or even more than the ones who tried to be someone else.
Time's moving on, I got older and then I just listened to the songs that I like to play and tried MY BEST to work it out MY WAY. I feel like I have more freedom to personally explore and express and develope my own style (Good or bad are judged by the listeners). I firmly believe that in the long run it will allow me to become more than I think I can be because I don't restrict myself to the personal expression of the original artists. I tried to do it as "MY RENDITION" with full respect to the original artists.
Please do not have any shame of your SOLO expression. Make it your own! I myself intentionally tried not to do it note by note or beat by beat as the original. I myself as a listener rather spend my time listen to the other versions of any song that the other players tried to do his or her own ways. I (as bad a player as I am) feel that the carbon copy of any song by ANY ONE is pretty sterile, boring and no true emotion involved
And of course it's my personal opinion about this matter. I'm not saying that I'm right or wrong in any way, shape or form. So play on my friend
