As far as I'm personally concerned, you are one of the best ones here man!
I dare anyone to play and sing this TOUGH song from the top to the bottom like you did here.
The only thing I think it'd make your version better is to lower the guitar volume and increase your vocal volumn. I know that this song needs a very good and complex strumming and if you are not careful enough it will easily overwhelm the vocal. JD's vocal was very powerful as you may know so he coud eclipse any kind of song that he sang.
When I saw this video I first thought you're going to sing JD's Eagles and horses (I'm flying again)
