สำหรับ 60 / 65 Series Mcilroy สงวนไว้เป็น Customized only ครับ ซึ่งนอกจากลูกค้า สามารถเลือกไม้ได้เองทั้ง back n sides (ยกเว้น Brazilian Rosewood) และนอกจากจะเป็น Master grade tonewoods ก็ยังเปี่ยมไปด้วย figure ที่สวยงาม คงคล้ายๆกับ 50 Series ของ Lowden นั่นเอง (แต่ราคาย่อมเยาว์กว่ามาก)

ส่วนเหตุผลของการใช้ split saddle ผมเดาเอาเองว่า ตาแม็คฯ คงต้องการ "สร้างความแตกต่าง" ในกลุ่ม Mcilroy guitars ด้วยกัน มากกว่าผลทางเสียงครับ

ประมาณว่า ถ้าเห็น split saddle เมื่อไหร่ นั่นเป็น Mcilroy's Custom
