อายุ 28 ปีแล้วครับ
สภาพผ่านศึก Relic ตามธรรมชาติครับ
ตัวนี้ถือว่าเป็นต้นตระกูลของ Fender Eric Clapton
เนื่องจากเป็น Fender รุ่นแรกที่ใช้ถ่าน 9 V. และมี TBX Tone และ Mid Boots
(TBX treble/bass expander and an active MDX midrange booster with 12 dB of gain)
ไม้ Ash คอ Mapleเล็ก รูปตัว V เสียงดี Vintage และมีมวลหนาใหญ่มากครับ

สิ่งที่ไม่เดิมคือ
1 .เปลี่ยนชุด Pickup เป็น Fender Vintage Noiseless ทั้งชุด
2. เปลี่ยน Selector Fender US. 5 ทาง
3. เปลี่ยน Capacitor ของ LUX Pepper in oil ค่า 0.022 ตัวละ 1,000 บาท (Rock Planet)
4. Re Fret มาแล้วครับ เล่นได้อีกนาน

แต่ PU มันเสียแล้วครับ

รุ่นนี้เป็นกีต้าร์หายากมากครับเพราะผลิตอยู่ไม่ถึงสองปี เขาบอกกันว่าเหตุผลที่เลิกผลิตไปก็เพราะ bridge "Freeflyte" มันทำให้สายเพี้ยนตลอดแต่ไม่ทราบว่าจริงหรือเปล่าครับ

"The Elite Stratocaster was introduced in 1983 and discontinued in 1984 due to performance problems generally associated with the unsuccessful Freeflyte bridge."

"The Freeflyte tremolo system differs significantly from previous Stratocaster tremolo designs. All routing is done from the front of the guitar. A cavity was created where the spring system would reside, and this connected to the bottom of the tremolo unit; the result was an unwieldy, unworkable piece of hardware. The company saved money this way by performing a single, front-sided rout on the guitar to accommodate the pickups, the tremolo, the preamp and the controls."

กีต้าร์ตัวที่ลงขายนี่เปลี่ยนชิ้นส่วนไปเกินหมื่นบาทแล้ว ไม่ทราบว่าเปลี่ยน bridge ด้วยหรือเปล่าครับ

บริดจ์เดิมครับ แต่ก็เก่าเหมือนกัน ผมเข้าไปดูรูปมาแล้ว เสียดาย knob มันเป็นเอกลักษณ์
ผมมี Bass Elite '83 อยู่ก็เลยอยากได้มาเก็บอีกตัวเหมือนกัน
