ความพิเศษของรุ่นนี้คือผลิตมาระหว่างปี 2003-2005 เพียงแค่ 96 ตัว ซึ่งหายากกว่า Martin D-28 Golden Era ซึ่งผลิต 300 กว่าตัว 
รวมไปถึงการที่ Brazilian Rosewood หายาก และติดกฏหมาย CITES ในการส่งออก
ด้วยเหตุนี้จึงทำให้ OM-28 Golden Era เป็นรุ่นหนึ่งที่นักสะสมถวิลหากันมากครับ
