เห็นกระทู้นี้ผลุบๆโผล่ๆอยู่เป็นเดือนแล้ว ขอความกระจ่างในเรื่องที่เจ้าของกระทู้อ้างอิงด้วยครับ

"Fender Custom Deluxe เลิกผลิตแล้วนะครับเพราะ Alder NOS ปลูกไม่ทัน ไม่มีในสต๊อกแล้ว ล๊อตนี้จึงเป็นล๊อตสุดท้ายที่ใช้ Hand Selected Alder ล๊อตใหม่จะเป็น Ash หมดแล้ว "

Alder เท่าที่ผมทราบเขาปลูกทันแน่นอนนะครับเพราะเป็นไม้ที่หาง่ายที่สุดในอเมริกาและยุโรป

ตามประวัติแล้ว Fender เริ่มใช้ alder แทน ash เพื่อลดต้นทุนเพราะ alder หาง่ายและถูกกว่านะครับ

"Fender adopted alder for electric instrument bodies in mid 1956, not because of a detailed scientific evaluation of its sonic properties, but probably for no other reason than it was there; that it was readily available and more affordable than ash"


ถ้า Fender เลิกใช้ alder แล้วเปลี่ยนมาใช้ ash ที่สวยกว่าและแพงกว่าแทนนี่มันไม่ดีตรงไหนครับ (นอกจากราคาอาจแพงขึ้นซึ่งคุณไม่ใด้กล่าวถึง)
