น้า Nap ครับ อัลบัม Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band ยอมรับครับว่าองค์ประกอบของดนตรีอลังการสุดๆ มีออร์เครสตร้าวงใหญ่มาแบคอัพ แต่ผมกลับไม่ค่อยชอบเท่าไร เพราะมันฟังแล้วไม่ค่อยเมือนเพลงของ The Beatles ที่เราคุ้นเคย (ผม Beatlesmania เต็มตัวครับ)

"Album ที่บันทึกเสียงดีที่สุด" to my translation is "The best recording album". So to my understanding it's what it is about recording aspect. And all of us are correct (in our own ears).

In My Humble Opinion, regardless of the time and the artists that Sgt. P was produced which was about 40+ years ago while the Recording Technology was in an infant stage but they could achiev and set the higher bar for the next generations to reach. It's just simply amazing task to say the least.

I realized that there are literally so many albums out there (millions?) so it's really impossible to say which one is the unarguable the best Besides how many that I really had time and paid attention listen to?

So my conclusion is like I said, each of us is correct to our own ears

And for Tatsanai, I loved that "White album" too but not technically recorded supreme like "Sgt. P". How about "Rubber soul" to your ears my friend?

ใช่ครับ น้า Nap ถ้าจะพูดถึง Album ที่บันทึกเสียงดีที่สุดตามที่น้า Web เปิดประเด็น ผมตอบไม่ตรงประเด็นเลยครับ เพราะผมพูดถึงอัลบัมที่ผมชอบ ชอบเสียงดนตรี ชอบเสียงนักร้อง ชอบเนื้อเพลงมากกว่า ว่ากันตามตรงเพลงยุค 60-70 อย่างThe Beatles คงจะมีคุณภาพการบันทึกเสียงเทียบเคียงกับเพลงยุคปัจจุบันได้ยากมาก เพลงของ The Beatles ที่คุณภาพการบันทึกเสียงที่ผมถือว่าดีน่าจะเป็นยุคท้ายๆแล้วอย่างชุด Let it be ละครับ

Rubber Soul ผมชอบ Norwegian Wood ครับ เสียง Sitar ที่ George Harrison เล่นทำให้สำเนียงของเพลงมันแปลกและโดดเด่นออกมาจากเพลงอื่นใน Album นี้ ที่แรกผมคิดว่าเป็นเสียงกีต้าร์ลองดีดกีตาร์ดูยังไงก็ไม่เหมือน
อีกเพลงที่ชอบมากๆเลยก็คื่อ In my life ครับ ชอบความหมายของเพลงครับ
ในแง่คุณภาพการบันทึกเสียง ผมยอมรับว่า no idia ครับ ผมไม่ใช่คนที่สนใจ audio file มากนัก ชอบความเป็นเพลงเป็นดนตรีโดนรวมมากกว่าครับ

Actually there's another song in this album that GH also played Sitar, "Girl" is that song, you can hear Sita comes in around 1:59 or so

ครับ น้า Web ผมก็นึกถึง Dire straits เช่นกัน ผมไม่เคยรู้จักอัลบัมนี้มาก่อนปี 2531 ผมเอารถไปติดเครื่องเสียงที่ Rocket sound เค้าแถมเทป metal มา 1 ม้วน ดนตรีมันมากเปิดแล้วกระหึ่มจริงๆ ตอนหลังจึงค่อยๆ มารู้ว่าเป็นอัลบัมDire straits มารู้ว่าเป็นเสียงของ Mark Knopfler

เพลง Girl ไม่ต้องเปิดฟังก็นึกออกครับ ว่ามีเสียง sitar อยู่ที่ท่อน solo
เพลงนี้เพราะดีเล่นง่าย ผมไม่คิดอะไรมากเล่นให้แฟนผมฟัง เค้าแล้วทำหน้าตึงๆ (ภาษาอังกฤษเค้าดีกว่าผมมาก) เค้าคงรู้สึกว่าเราร้องเพลงต่อว่าเค้า

Speaking about "The fool on the hill", I considered that song is my interpretation of me! You see, I am one of those fools who always disdain people who think they are better than the other souls around, and co-incidently I live at the footHILL of the high mountain in my few miles away off my backyard and I actually live much closer to that mountain until we moved down for another mile 10 years ago, and I always love mountains

อัลบั้ม "กัมพูชา" ของ คาราบาว อัด Acoustic ได้ถูกใจผมมาก
ขอออกตัวก่อนว่าผมไม่ได้เป็นแนวเพื่อชีวิตจัด ๆ แต่ประการใด
แต่ปัจจุบันยังเปิด album นี้ฟังเป็นครูในการหาความรู้ในการบันทึกเสียง Acoustic ตลอด
มัน ดิบ ดิบ แน่น แน่น ไม่มี effect ฟุ้งกระจายดี ได้ยิน ได้รู้สึก การลง pick กระทบสายออกมากับเนื้อเพลงเลย
percussion ก็มาแบบมีมิติเหมือนกับว่ากำลังเล่นกีต้าร์ล้อมวง รอบกองไฟ แล้วมีใครซักคนเคาะ percussion ขึ้นมาน่ะครับ ได้ feel Live มาก ๆ
คงยกเครดิตให้พี่เขียว คาราบาว ที่เป็นหนึ่งใน sound egineer ชั้นนำของเมืองไทย กะ ฝีมือลง pick ร่ายมนต์กีต้ารโปร่ง อันสุดยอดของพี่ คาราบาวแต่ละคนด้วยน่ะครับ

ส่วนเพลงรุ่นใหม่ ๆ ชอบการอัดเสียงเพลง "ล้มบ้างก็ได้" ของคุณ บอย โกศิยพงษ์ แต่ก็เป็น sound แบบ modern ไปเลย
แต่ก็ไม่ประทับใจมากมาย เพราะเป็น ฝรั่งเล่น กะ อัดเสียงใน USA...
