นี่อาจเป็นสาเหตุหนึ่งที่ทำให้บางคนบอกว่าไม้ koa เสียงหลอนมาก ช่างไทยน่าจะลองเอาไม้ตะเคียนหรือไม้จำปามาทำกีต้าร์ดูบ้าง เสียงอาจจะ "หลอน" กว่า koa อีกนะ
