Here is one supremely special guitar from Kevin Ryan. This thing has master-grade koa all over it. Everywhere you look on the guitar, there's highly-flamed, mind-boggling koa almost blinding your eyes. It also has a lot of other nice options, including a ton of select blue paua. This guitar has a replacement value of about $11,200, including the inlays. And speaking of which, this guitar has Larry Robinson (Robinson Inlays) inlays on the fretboard and headstock. He's one of the most well-respected inlay artists in the world. He did the inlays for Martin's 750,000th and 1,000,000th guitars. He tells me the inlay work cost about $800.

This guitar has a 1 and 3/4" nut width and a 2 and 1/4" string spacing. It plays like butter. The tone is very clear and crisp, with a very even response across the spectrum. It responds to the lightest touch while fingerpicking, and the cedar top holds up surprisingly well to heavy flatpicking. The B-Band pickup in this guitar sounds phenomenal. I normally don't like the sound of an amplified guitar, but this pickup system almost changes my mind. Comes with a deluxe Ameritage case.

Cosmetically, this guitar is perfect with the exception of a hairline scratch next to the endpin. It's pictured below.

A tropical theme ~ Tucans, flowers & a butterfly adorn the fretboard.
