ตัวนี้สั่งตั้งแต่มีราคาในCatalogจนได้มาใช้เวลาประมาณ 6เดือนเข้าไปดูอีกทีโดนประกาศเป็นInactive Modelไปซะแล้ว เข้าใจว่าทางMartinตอนนี้เก็บไม้Madagascar Rosewoodเพื่อใช้ในAuthentic Serie เนื่องจากปีนี้ไม้ที่ว่าโดนประกาศห้ามของCITES appendix I ซะแล้ว ต้องขอบคุณCin Guitarsที่จัดมาแบบรถด่วนขบวนสุดท้ายและรุ่นนี้ผลิตน้อยมากๆตัวของผมเพิ่งเสร็จจากโรงงานMartinเป็นตัวที่ 45ครับ
รุ่นนี้เป็นกีตาร์สเป็คเกินราคา ทั้งการใช้ส่วนผสมของไม้และงานตกแต่งรอบตัว เป็นรุ่นที่เกิดจาก 1934Martin C-2 ที่เป็นArchtopและดัดแปลงมาเป็นFlattop เสียงที่ได้จึงคมพุ่งกว่าMartinทั่วไป
