1983 Guild G45 Blonde # GD100032
Made in Westerly, Rhode Island, USA.

Introduced in 1982(there was a short reissue run in 1994), the total production of this first run from 1982 to 1987 was only 89 instruments. This one, with a date of October 3, 1983 on the interior block, is number 32. This beautiful top-of-the-line Guild dreadnaught is basically a Maple neck/sides/arched back version of the venerable D-55. It features a multi-bound solid Spruce top, highly figured arched Maple back, a figured Maple neck, a multi-bound Ebony fretboard with block/triangle pearl/abalone inlays, inlaid G-shield and Guild logo at the headstock, and Guild logo sealed tuners. This model is also called the Hank Williams Jr model because some had his name on the pickguard. This one has no reference to Williams.
