This violin physically exhibits all the distinctive styling of Italian instruments. The violin is in absolutely great condition, and has EXCELLENT TONE QUALITY with a rich, bright, mature sound.
The rich, golden amber oil varnish is a real eye catcher.The scroll and f holes are GRACEFULLY CARVED, and nicely detailed. The edge work and purfling are meticulously executed. The internal woodwork is precise and will ensure long-term stability. The table is aged, tight grained EUROPEAN ALPINE SPRUCE. The back has beautiful book matched Tiger Maple grain patterns as well as matching neck, and sides. The arching and plate graduation work are dimensionally correct for optimum flexure and sound quality.
