Hi Boob,
I don't really have any advice about this project, but just like you said it's only a part of what you have in mind.
I don't know much about music theory but as I've learned to compose any classical theme by theory you will need at least as follow;
1. Overture
2. Movements (should be at least 2)
3. Finale

So what you composed here is only the Overture (to me), after this you will need to convey it the heart of the matter and you must leave no prisoner here. When all has been explained in you musical language in these movements then you must slowly close the curtain before you take a bow.

Now that's just the theory but you can do whatever your heart desires. Sometimes rules are made to be broken and especially in ART.

Hope my comment will somehow give you some courage to break all the rules and go merrily along your own way
