ในกรณีนี้ไม่ทราบครับ แต่ Dick Boak เคยบอกว่าไม้ลามีเนตสามชิ้นประกบกันจะให้เสียงของไม้
ชิ้นกลางเสมอ Martin เลยใช้ mahogany เป็นไม้ชิ้นกลางตลอดครับ

ถ้าใช้ทฤษฏีเดียวกัน ไม้แซนวิชที่เป็น nomex ตรงกลางเสียงคงออกมาเป็น nomex มั้งครับ
