It surprised me too for this cheap Kodak Zi8 that gave me the clarity of Video/Audio. This is the first time that I really tried it outdoor and daylight. It's simply straigt forward recording, no EQ of any kind or anything else, not even with the windscreen! (But I used the monopod to somewhat control the shakiness of this handheld camcorder and also the infamous wind velocity of SF too, and it seemed to help quite a bit)

Normally at San Francisco it is mostly foggy and windy but we were lucked out in that afternoon. The temp is about mid 60s F. and not very windy at the Piers with the sunshine about right.
