Shubb is my favorite, but I've never try G7 or Planet Waves so I have no idea about those.

In My Humble Opinion; I like Shubb because it is very compact size, precise and adjustable tension, very well-built and also can replace the rubber parts when/if they're worn out. I'm using mine may be 6 years already and those 2 rubber parts haven't show any bad sign of age yetCool
[A friendship needs a little mulch of contacts every so often-just to save it from drying out completely.

I always have great pleasure being alone by myself to play, If you're playing for any other reason, it won't last.
