2007 Gibson Custom 1968 Les Paul Custom Flametop Sunburst: Holy Cow! If you're looking to nail down that Led Zepplin tone this has it! This is definitely one of the nicest Les Paul's we've had the pleasure to play. Start with a gorgeous tri-color sunburst with a flamed maple top that's tiger striped and nearly 3D at certain angles with a solid mahogany back with multi-ply white/black binding on top & back. Then inset twin Gibson Classic '57 humbuckers with gold covers and hardware with an ABR-1 bridge/stopbar tailpiece. This baby has tone to die for. Next wrap your hands around the 60's style rounded neck profile and let your fingers slide up the 22-fret bound ebony fingerboard with beautiful pearl block inlays. Despite the beauty of this neck, the first thing we immediately noticed was superb action, extremely playable and that this guitar has great resonance. We admit to being picky about the guitars we play and this one scored high marks across the board. 10.4 lbs. of sustain heaven. Complete with hardcase. $3750
