Yes I realized that he's nobody to anyone here at "Nimit",
but he was one of my musician friends in USA.

I met him first time in mid 70s in Los Angeles when he was the bass player in a rock band that Paul Peckanan (now resided back in BKK) was the lead guitar with their other 3 American musicians while I was a bass player in another rock band "ON THE ROCK".

He's also mingled with another legendary Thai guitarist Somchai Kamlertkul while he resided in California (Chai are back in BKK just like Paul P)

I was impressed with Jume's playing style and such, he was about 5 years younger than me.

We didn't see each other for so many years until I recently got back to MUSIC again. And our friendship blossom.

We found out that we liked to talk to each other in the same intimate BASS language since we were both the bass players that nobody elses would understand.

This morning my "ON THE ROCK" bandmate "Nana" emailed me and informed me about Jume passed away peacefully at 7,30 am at his home from his lingered cancer cause.

This is just to honor my dear friend "Jume" from me and to remind you guys of "Here today, gone tomorrow".

My friend "Jume"'s time is up, he's lived a good life, made people happy from his musical point of view.

Have you done yours?

Here's his faded picture that sooner or later his memories will inevitably fade out of his friends' memories.

And here's another picture of our jamming, he's playing drum on the left while our other friend Nana played guitar in the middle and I played bass on the right;

Thanks for reading down to this line my younger friends, LIFE IS SHORT, DO IT NOW!!!

Smile
Dear Toy and Karn,

Cancer is just another cause of "Death" among many othersBig Grin, there's absolulely nothing to fear about.

The only question is "Have you done your share for yourself and for the world that allows you to live for a while?"

Speaking of "Death".

Yesterday I've found Willie Nelson's article that you guys might interest to hear,

Here's what he said;
"Death is not the ending of anything, I believe all of us are only Energy that becomes Matter. When the matter goes away, the energy still exists. You can't destroy it. It manifests itself somewhere else. We are never alone. Death is just a door opening to somewhere else. Someday we'll know what that door opens to"

Have a wonderful life guys, until thenTongue

Addendum here;
I think it's appropriate to put something here as the Post Cremation for Jume.
Nana told me that somehow Jume had postpone his death until Monday morning at 7.30 am since Sunday was "Father day" that he wanted to stick around for his daughter and son. Besides, he arranged to deliver his wife her coming birthday gift after his death too!

And here allow me to paste our Thai legendary guitarist friend "Chai Kamlertkul" email that he sent to me from BKK, I'm sure he doesn't mind;

" what a story! He was JUME 'til the end that guy.
He arranged everything even his own last big event, imagine that. Bought his wife Bday present ahead of time. He's been doing that type of things all his life, Jume was a very prompt individual, he had never back down from his responsibility, you and I knew that he had struggle thru some hard times but we hardly ever heard him complaint. He was a real family man. I hope wherever he is, that he knows that you and I loved him and will always remember as he was in our memories"

Let's celebrate Jume's life and even his death :-))
