Penned by Leon Russell,

"I love you in a place where there's no space or time
I love you for in my life you are a friend of mine " (whoever you are)

I've been so many places in my life and time
I've sung a lot of songs I've made some bad rhyme
I've acted out my love in stages
With ten thousand people watching
But we're alone now and I'm singing this song for you

I know your image of me is what I hope to be
I've treated you unkindly but darlin' can't you see
There's no one more important to me
Darlin' can't you please see through me
Cause we're alone now and I'm singing this song for you

You taught me precious secrets of the truth witholding nothing
You came out in front and I was hiding
But now I'm so much better and if my words don't come together
Listen to the melody cause my love is in there hiding

I love you in a place where there's no space or time
I love you for in my life you are a friend of mine
And when my life is over
Remember when we were together
We were alone and I was singing this song for you

Conveyed to you by late great Ray Charles,

And followed by late great Karen Carpenter

Hi Sarun,
I've been thinking about your suggestion, but I think I'd rather decline.

The magnitude of this song is too much for me to put it on my YT. We might play it together in some hidden corner when no one is watching us at BKK someday Big GrinBig Grin 5555
(A Song for You, This Masquerade)

I really love Ray Charles, used to study Ray Charles for many years but, to make it short, I sat and watched Brother Ray Cool play the whole concert less than12 feet away. It was December 31,1999 a New Year's Eve event in a small ballroom. I'm glad I did what I did.

Hey W@@dro,
I want to know about it, man, I'm jealous!
What did he play? Did he happen to do "Still crazy after all those years"? I guess not. Was it big band backup or what?
Wow, you're so lucky man!Big Grin
