Hi all, I was trying to put this one at PM, but one of the receivers said he couldn't link it up.
So I put it up here for them to be able to see what I saw, my main reason was to try to persuade them to go to this my "Heaven on earth"
And hope whoever happens to get in here will enjoy these pictures too. These pictures were taken when we went there in 2005 and 2006.

This one is my hiking buddy Chai and his friend "Poon" at the beginning of the trail "trail sign", and if you notice you can also hike (backpack) from this sign to Mount Whitney. Only about 200 miles 5555

Vernal fall and its famous Misty trail, it's not unusual to see double and I recalled seeing even triple rainbows here!
Vernal fall, misty trail.

My wife, my daughter and my son-in-law in front of Yosemite fall.

I think you can figure it out here, (my wife, my daughter and I of course) with Yosemite fall in the background.
Photobucket

Poon and Chai took a rest after hike up for 8 miles with Half Dome in the background, if you really take a look you can see cables up on that dome from here!
Photobucket

Guess who's here? You don't have to be a nutty but it surely helped to climb up by the cables and hang on to your dear life!. it's literally "your life in your own hands" here!! Because if you let go your hands from the cables you better believe you will have a "free falling" just like Tom Petty's song. And believe me, it's even worse looking down when you're coming back down from the top !!!

Photobucket

Here's how it looked from the top; (this one borrowed from WEB);

And this last one from my Alta Loma home looking through the trees in my backyard toward the mountain range behind;

I hope you enjoy them all and really, really hope that these pictures (from a very non-experience camera man, and I wish I could take V74 along with his compact camera!) will inspire you to go and see the real thing, just remember that these are only one dimension. The real things are at least 3 dimension plus smell and sound and everything else!!!!

Hi Pov,

Here's my son picture, he's 6 ft 1 inch, I'm 5 ft 7 inch, we took this picture when we were on Thailand trip in 2008 (last year).
We visited our relative (Sirisak Ketanurak) that became a monk at Wat Pa Thammapirom in Baan Hong, Lampoon, he was a Chieng Mai U. graduate and went to Philadelphia for his MA. And now a monk for the rest of his life.
