เห็นกระทู้นี้ผลุบๆโผล่ๆอยู่เป็นเดือนแล้ว ขอความกระจ่างในเรื่องที่เจ้าของกระทู้อ้างอิงด้วยครับ

ตามประวัติแล้ว Fender เริ่มใช้ alder แทน ash เพื่อลดต้นทุนเพราะ alder หาง่ายและถูกกว่านะครับ
"Fender adopted alder for electric instrument bodies in mid 1956, not because of a detailed scientific evaluation of its sonic properties, but probably for no other reason than it was there; that it was readily available and more affordable than ash"
ถ้า Fender เลิกใช้ alder แล้วเปลี่ยนมาใช้ ash ที่สวยกว่าและแพงกว่าแทนนี่มันไม่ดีตรงไหนครับ (นอกจากราคาอาจแพงขึ้นซึ่งคุณไม่ใด้กล่าวถึง)
