Dear Kata,
I really like "แต่ละทีที่ดีดเบส เหมือนเอาอกพักบอลเลยครับ"
You see, soccer was my first sport first love. I started to play since I was very young and quit when I was about 32 years old to take up Tennis in stead. I can see/feel right away of your definition. Very well-said Kata
But no, I don't think I have any Thread about this guitar
And actually it's just another regular OM/PW that was born in 2007, ser.#3461. I bought it USED (as I always do if I could). As you may already knew Santa Cruz guitars are almost like hand-made guitar when compares to Martin or Taylor because Richard Hoover makes his guitars in a very small shop and only few luthier workers (Yes, his shop is in Santa Cruz, California). As I recall Santa Cruz guitars were made about 700 or less per year. And by doing that RH is abled to at least sound-check every tone-wood that he will use for each and every guitar while there's no way for Martin or Taylor to do that due to massive number of guitars that they have to produce each day!!
I bought it USED unseen and unplayed because I trusted in SC. I could say that I like every SC guitars that I had a chance to lay my hands on even if there were not too many that I did.
So when I saw the AGF (Acousticguitarforum.com) website on sale for this one I investigated and purchased it from the original owner who lived in East coast. As I said this is USED guitar but from the pics and what the owner described it was just like brand new, so I took a chance and didn't disappoint at all. It's one of those Plain-Jane guitar that I always like. The only criterias for me about guitar are; it must perfectly fits my hands/fingers/body and most of all fits my set of ears regardless of whatever others say about its tone.
I also put the mini K & K pickup in it by myself just in case I need to amplify it. But the acoustic tone of this one was really a Heavenly sound to my ears. On this particular song I ran it acousticallly through Mackie 802-VLZ3 mixer/MXL condenser pencil mics (2 mics for guitar) as X-Y configuration. So by doing that it might fabricate its real tone a bit. The strings I used on this song are D'Addario 6 weeks old! It was an Impromptu thing to do this song, the idea just came up to me in a flash so I did it without changing strings and I sang this song when I was in a rock group about 30 years ago or so and luckily I still remember the lyric :-)
Hope this SHORT info will satisfy your curiousity Kata and I'll sign off now
