Squat Model one of only nine made

It has a 17 inch bout and a 1.75 nut width. It is 4.25 inches deep at the bout tapering to 3.5 inches deep at the top.
It has a wonderfully aged Sitka Spruce top. Back and sides are highly figured Hawaiin Koa wood. The fret board is ebony and the neck is mahogany. Gold German Schaller tuners and a Brazilian Rosewood headstock.
The following is from Collings Guitars to me when I provided them the Guitar serial number for background:
"The Squat is a model that we have built occasionally over the years (a total of 9 built since 1994). The Squat is similar to our SJ model, but with a wider lower bout (similar to a Gibson J-200 body style). We built the first Squat for Jerry Jeff Walker. A few years later, Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen also requested this model. These are fine guitars and should definitely have some collector value, since we've done so few of them. The reason that we've only built nine of these guitars is because we never got fully set up (in terms of jigs, fixtures and tooling) to produce them regularly. Most of these were built one at a time, either at the request of celebrity musicians (as mentioned above) or personal friends of Collings Guitars. If the guitar you own was built in 1994, its most likely the guitar that was owned by Jerry Jeff Walker. There may have been a few built before this year, however, the records in my computer only date back to 1993. I hope this helps.

กลับมาได้ 5 วันแล้ว สบายดีครับ
คิดถึงพี่ๆน้องๆในบ้านสีฟ้า
คิดถึงกีตาร์ที่รักมากๆๆๆๆๆ
กำลังเริ่มจัดบ้านเต่าให้เข้าที่เข้าทาง แต่ปรับปรุงเล็กน้อยให้โล่งขึ้น
น้ำคงไม่มาเยี่ยมบ้านเต่าแล้ว
หากมาก็จะถ่ายรูปลงบ้านเต่ารายวันทันที

ไม้สวยจริงๆครับพี่ป๋อ เสียงน่าจะไม่ธรรมดา ยี่ห้อนี้หามือสองยากเพราะเป็นกีตาร์ดีที่ใครเป็นเจ้าของแล้วจะไม่ยอมปล่อย

ส่วนตัวแล้ว ผมชอบกีตาร์ตัวนี้มากๆ สมใจที่อยากหายี่ห้อนี้มา
ตั้งใจว่าหาไม่ได้ดีก็ยังจะรอต่อไปเรื่อยๆ

เบา ไม่บางไม่หนา หุ่นสวย คอบาง Actionต่ำมากเล่นง่ายๆ ไม้สวยทั้งหน้าหลังข้าง
ราคาไม่แรง หายากมาก ยี่ห้อดีที่อยากได้
ส่วนเสียงเป็นเอกลักษณ์ดี ผมว่าเสียงละเมียดละมุนต่างจากยี่ห้ออื่น
