Taylor XXX-BE 30th Anniversary Grand Concert guitar.
This one is #12 of 150 made with Brazilian B&S, and Engleman top. Super easy to play with the lighter tension of the short scale!
These were made in 2004 in very limited numbers.
The label on this one slipped past the Taylor folks, however, and reads "12 of 250"! All of the other wood combinations DID have 250 produced of each, but definately NOT of the XXX-BE model. Just 150 of these were made, and all with the much higher abalone coverage on all four corners and around the fretboard extension.
So a bit of an "error" guitar as well,....but only in the labeling!
The really funny part of this is that both Robert Taylor and Kurt Listug signed the label on this one, and never noticed the error in the label! Must get really busy over at the factory some days!
